Inframanage.com are very happy to introduce Dr Theuns Henning, who has joined as Contributor.
Dr. Theuns Henning is the Director of the Transport Research Centre and a senior lecturer at the University of Auckland, specializing in the areas of Infrastructure Asset Management.
Prior to joining the University in 2007, Theuns was an internationally recognized consulting engineer.
Theuns’ research includes condition deterioration modeling, asset management systems and optimization of infrastructure renewal and replacement programs including road pavements, water pipes, and bridges. Theuns is well known throughout New Zealand and internationally for his expertise in these areas.
Theuns’ skills and expertise in infrastructure asset management are widely recognized and he has been appointed to international committees such as the Transport Research Board (TRB) in the United States and the international conference organizing the committee of the 9th ICMPA to be held in Washington DC in 2015.
Theuns work with these committees, through his research, and through consulting work in New Zealand and internationally with the World Bank enables him to maintain experience and practice at the leading edge of international infrastructure asset management.
Theuns will be a regular contributor to the Inframanage.com Blog as well as providing a range of paid content that can be accessed through Inframanage.com
