Ross is the founder, publisher and currently principal author of the Inframanage.com site.
Working for more than 30 years in local government infrastructure asset management and engineering, Ross desires to share his expertise through the Inframanage.com site.
His consulting work for over 15 years enabled him to develop knowledge and learning on infrastructure management, in the areas of transportation, utilities, community facilities, parks and properties.
His expertise has been employed on a number of New Zealand national infrastructure standard setting projects.
Grant brings to Inframange.com his expertise on Asset Management.
He has extensive knowledge and ability in municipal and local government asset management and engineering.
Grant undertakes much of his practice supporting communities in achieving the delivery of infrastructure management requirements.
This support has included the development of levels of service models; integration of long term plans with asset management plans and the development of asset service delivery maintenance contracts.
Heather brings her wealth of asset management experience and expertise to Inframanage.com. She has been working in asset management throughout the United States, including US territories, for over 10 years.
Heather has a background in engineering, having earned a BS Degree in Environmental Engineering from Penn State University and an MS degree in Environmental Engineering at Johns Hopkins University. She is currently enrolled in a PhD program at the University of New Mexico in Civil Engineering with an Environmental emphasis. She is a registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania and New Mexico.
Heather’s interest in asset management came as a result of her work with water and wastewater utilities. She recognized that they were struggling to manage and pay for their assets and needed a better approach.
Theuns received his ME (Transportation) from the University of Pretoria, South Africa his PhD at the University of Auckland. His research includes condition deterioration modelling, asset management systems and optimisation of infrastructure renewal and replacement programmes including road pavements, water pipes and bridges.
He has joined the University in 2007 as an academic staff member from industry, having been an internationally recognized consulting engineer. He led a number of national industry steering bodies, including being the CEO of IDS ltd, a company of IPWEA NZ (Engineers for Local Government) and has worked a number of years as advisor to the NZTA.
