The Infrastructure Asset Management Exchange is supported by the UK Institute of Asset Management, which is a

professional body for the whole of life management of physical assets

The Institute of Asset Management has a well-resourced web site, runs a number of asset management related events, and has a good LinkedIn Group which has interesting discussions.

In preparation for the March Infrastructure Asset Management Exchange, a survey was undertaken with over 500 infrastructure management professionals responding.

The resulting report From Inspiration to Practical Application: Achieving Holistic Asset Management provides some really useful insights for any infrastructure asset manager and is well worth the read (16 pages and lots of infographics).  You must provide basic registration details to download the report.
