I (Ross) was able to attend the New Mexico Asset Management User Group on Wednesday, April 23rd in Albuquerque, New Mexico
Water and Wastewater Utility Asset Managers from across New Mexico attended the meeting, which led to a good discussion on asset management topics.
The Southwest Environmental Finance Centre that does a wide range of training and technical assistance for water and wastewater utilities across the USA arranged and facilitated the meeting.
It was really good to hear the questions, the field examples, and to gain a better understanding of the asset management issues that utilities face in the State of New Mexico.
Having attended the Asset Management User Group meeting and seen the mutual support and encouragement, I am convinced that they practice a really good mechanism for asset management support.
I encourage readers in other States to consider this type of meeting.
If you want more information please contact the Southwest Environmental Finance Centre for details.
